Worship service for tomorrow cancelled due to dangerously low wind chill

Notice: The regularly scheduled worship service at Wayside Gospel Chapel for tomorrow has been cancelled due to the dangerous wind chill values predicted for our area (see below)

The National Weather Service is predicting that in the Roemersville area during the time period of our scheduled service the wind chill values will be between -25 deg. F. to -28 deg. F., and dropping even further as the day goes on.

If you must go out tomorrow at all please give attention to the advisory below. I have highlighted the pertinent statements with bold red font.

  SKIN... OR HYPOTHERMIA MAY OCCUR.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW AND BLOWING
SNOW WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SLIPPERY
ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.

A WIND CHILL WARNING IS ISSUED WHEN WINDS COMBINE WITH BITTERLY
COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS CONDITIONS FOR
EXPOSED SKIN. THE WIND CHILL WILL BE COLD ENOUGH TO CAUSE
FROSTBITE IN ABOUT 15 MINUTES OR LESS...AND COULD LEAD TO
HYPOTHERMIA IF PROPER PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST GO
OUTSIDE...REMEMBER THAT SEVERAL LAYERS OF CLOTHING WILL KEEP YOU
WARMER THAN A SINGLE HEAVY COAT. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO COVER
ALL EXPOSED FLESH TO PROTECT YOURSELF FROM FROSTBITE.
