Dr. Ed Welch
Edward T. Welch, M.Div., Ph.D. Ed is a counselor and faculty member at Christian Counseling Education Foundation (CCEF). He earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Utah and has a Master of Divinity degree from Biblical Theological Seminary. Ed has been counseling for over thirty years and has written extensively on the topics of depression, fear and addictions. His books include: When People Are Big and God is SmallAddictions: A Banquet in the GraveBlame it on the BrainDepression—A Stubborn DarknessRunning ScaredCrossroads: A Step-by-Step Guide Away from Addiction; and When I am Afraid: A Step-by-Step Guide Away from Fear and Anxiety.

Dr. Gerlin Valencia
Dr. Gerlin Valencia is an Assistant Professor of Graduate Counseling Ministries at Baptist Bible College & Seminary. He teaches Ethnicity, Families, and Counseling, Applications of Biblical Counseling, Methods of Biblical Change, and Marriage and Family Counseling. Dr. Valencia earned his M.Div., Th.M., and Ph.D. at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.  His goal for his students is to have them develop a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ.

Dr. Matt Mitchell
 
Matt Mitchell (B.A. Moody Bible Institute, M.Div Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, D.Min Westminster Theological Seminary) is Heather’s hubby and daddy to Robin, Andrew, Peter, and Isaac. He has pastored Lanse Evangelical Free Church, a 122-year-old rural church parked along interstate 80 in central Pennsylvania, since 1998. A frequent contributor to the Biblical Counseling Coalition, Matt is the author of Resisting Gossip: Winning the War of the Wagging Tongue and blogs at matt-mitchell.blogspot.com.

Dr. Karl Benzio
Karl Benzio, M.D., a Christian psychiatrist specializing in Decision-Making Sciences and its application to adolescent, addiction, and faith-based treatment. He has a B.S.E. in Biomedical Engineering with focus in Central Nervous System imaging from Duke University, an M.D. from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, and went to UC–Irvine to complete his Psychiatric Residency. While being a frequent media guest expert on many Behavioral Health and social policy issues, Dr. Benzio has testified in front of United States Congress, the Pennsylvania Legislature, and for the President’s Bioethics Committee. He currently directs Lighthouse Network, a national ministry developing Faith-based Behavioral Health resources and helping struggling people access faith-based treatment options. 

Dr. Charles Kollar
Dr. Charles Kollar is the Lead Pastor at Innovation Church in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. A Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, a Certified Relationship Specialist and a member of the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Association (SFBTA), Charles received his Doctoral degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Charles has been a church planter, a nursing care social worker, a United States Navy Chaplain and has been the pastor for three congregations. Dr. Kollar is the author of two books – Solution-Focused Pastoral Counseling, and Mastering Life. He also contributed to “Strategies for Brief Pastoral Counseling” by Fortress Press and has been published in the “Journal for Pastoral Care” and “Solutions: A Journal for Brief Therapists.”

Fred Jacoby, MA
Fred Jacoby, MA is the Founder and Director of Foundations Christian Counseling Services and Pastor of Development & Discipleship at Cornerstone Community Church in Kunkletown, PA.  Fred received his Masters degree from Biblical Seminary and has counseled individuals and couples struggling in marriage, relationships,  with anger, depression, anxiety, grief, and many other issues.  As a speaker, Fred has given seminars on marriage, parenting, depression and anger and trains the mentors of Truth For Women in the Lehigh Valley.

Jeremy Yeckley, MS
Jeremy Yeckley, MS is the Development Director of Foundations Christian Counseling Services and the Director of Career Services and Associate Professor at Baptist Bible College & Seminary.  As a husband, father, and student of the Word, Jeremy's passion is to bring Biblical Counseling to the church to help people struggling personally and spiritually in their marriages and lives.

Janet Lanton, MS
Janet Lanton, MS is a counselor at Foundations Christian Counseling Services (Scranton / Wilkes-Barre offices) and graduate of Baptist Bible College & Seminary.  Janet has served as Women’s Ministry Leader through her church, Steamtown Church in Scranton, PA , and loves building relationships with women and helping them find their identities in the Lord Jesus Christ.
